ANZAC Day celebration!

Hundred years ago, many people and soldiers died in Gallipoli on Wolrd War 1.
In the war, they use ships to get to Gallipoli . They had no helicopters during that time.
When the soldiers got there they saw high cliffs. They had to dig their way in.
Every time they got out they will get shot. They keep getting shot until they got out. You have to be sixteen and over to join the new Zealand army.
A way of remembering ANZAC day is red poppies. Another is to sing the national anthem. You can also use the cross to remember the people who died in the New Zealand army.
You can make ANZAC cookies and eat them because they are very yummy.

WALT write a recount about ANZAC.
I know this when I write the topic, followed by the details and then the conclusion in my recount.
